The 28-year-old hasn't stopped picking up accolades since making the £25.7million move to Naples from Manchester United last summer. The midfielder had a career-best campaign last season as he led the Italian giants to the Serie A title.

Netting 12 league goals in 34 games on the way to Napoli's second Scudetto in three years, the Scotland international earned the Serie A MVP title for his efforts. He was also nominated for the Ballon d'Or for the first time in his career, in what has been a stark change of fortunes since departing his boyhood club.

Four months into Napoli's defence of their title, the club sit second and level on points with leaders AC Milan but trail by goal difference. Before the turn of the year, McTominay's trophy cabinet will need some added space following his latest honour.

Picking up the Serie A Player of the Season prize on Monday at the Grand Gala of Football 2025, the Naples fan favourite was joined at the glitzy ceremony by his model girlfriend.

While it was McTominay who was the star of the night, as he was also named in the Serie A top XI, Reading stole the limelight with her see-through black dress accompanied by an opulent necklace.
